RESOURCES
We guarantee all our logs used have been certified by local government officials MINAE ( The Ministry of Environment and Energy is a ministry or department of the government of Costa Rica) and SINAC (National System of Conservation Areas is part of the Ministry of Environment and Energy of Costa Rica)
LOG EXTRACTING
After the log have been studied and certified dead, down, or dying. We get the permits from local authorities for extraction
MILL
We mill our slabs at 2 and 3 inches thick
PICTURE AND IDENTIFYING
Every slab is pictured and identified. We have a very organized and unique inventory system that gives our clients the confidence to place an order from around the globe.
AIR DRYING
To ensure the tension and moisture are released from the slabs, the first important process to stabilizing the wood is allowing it to air dry. Give it time to relax and bring its moisture content to about 60% before going into the kiln
KILN DRIED TO 8%- 10% mc
Our kiln drying process takes from 2 to 3 months. This is not a process we do not rush. We believe it's vital to provide the highest quality slabs.
EXPOXY FIXED
For only 0.50$ per bf, we fill all cracks and crevasses with a high-quality epoxy resin
SANDED TO 120 GRIT

PALETIZED AND READY TO SHIP
Over the years we have invented unique techniques to load the containers fast, safely, and efficiently. It all starts with properly palletizing and making a custom loading plan for every container.
