After coming out of the kiln the slabs get a rough sanding. This will smooth out all the saw marks and remove any bark left on the side. This gives us a clean surface to start the epoxy process. After the slabs have been epoxied they will return to the sanding team for the removal of excess epoxy and for the final sanding to 120 grit. live edge costa rica wood company
